Sparkman Civic Center:  Corner of Hwy. 31 & Nanceford Road.  Gymnasium, basketball, racquetball, weight room, game room, aerobics, senior citizen activities, classes, rental facilities.
Sparkman Park:  Behind the civic center.  Ball fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, walking trail, pavilions, picnic tables and grills.
Legion Ball fields: Railroad Street.  Softball fields, playground.

Aquadome Park:  Forty acre park is located at 5th Avenue and 8th Street SW, Decatur.  The recreation center features a domed pool used year-round.  There are also meeting rooms for various activities.  The complex includes three lighted tennis courts, two baseball fields, concessions building with restrooms, one Dixie Boys Field, and one softball field.
Carrie Matthews Park: Memorial Drive/6th Street NW.  Five acres, multi-use, two tennis courts, playground, one picnic shelter, pool, recreation center.
Point Mallard Park:  is a 750-acre site designed to provide total family recreation opportunities throughout the year.  Featuring a 35-acre water theme area offers America's first Wave Pool, the Duck Pond and squirt Factory kid's pools, mini golf, and more! A year round ice rink, 18-hole par 72 championship golf course, a 25-acre campground, batting cages, lighted tennis courts, ball fields, recreation center, an an amphitheater which hosts many of the city's festivals. T.C. Almon Recreation Center: Includes basketball court, racquetball court, two meeting rooms, kitchen, recreation room, shower and locker facilities, and six lighted tennis courts. (located at Point Mallard)
